I agree with Mr. Blow. No human being is a perfect person, simply because we belong to the human race, an imperfect, though intelligent species capable of learning and evolving toward becoming a perfect species.
Every day the human species is learning about our human condition and physical world, seeking to improve the Quality of Life for all human beings.
Understandably our imperfect human species makes mistakes, often depriving peaceful human beings from experiencing and enjoying their basic human rights.
In the early 1600s, around the same period of human history when unjust human oppression we call slavery began on the North American continent, a significant number of human beings ignorantly believe the Earth was the center of ‘everything.’
When Galileo Galilei (1564–1642) an Italian astronomer, physicist, engineer, philosopher, and mathematician who played a major role in the scientific revolution of the seventeenth century offered evidence our Sun did not revolve around the Earth, God and Bible people imprisoned him for the remainder of his life.
Galileo got off lucky, the God loving people savagely murdered or horrifically tortured other free thinkers who attempted using their human intellect to help the human race learn and evolve.
Sadly, today many people continue holding ignorant beliefs in Gods, though fortunately we have evolved to believe the Earth is not the center of the universe. An expanding universe that was not discovered until the 20th Century.
Our species will continue evolving, learning day by day about our physical world and adapting as we slowly plod along trying to make the best of life.
Frankly, I believe Mrs. Clinton does not genuinely wish to evolve, wanting to continue talking a good game while producing few positive results for my American neighbors.
While I believe Mrs. Clinton’s businessperson opponent can be a bit of a knucklehead, I also believe Mr. Trump’s ego will drive him to succeed in helping to improve the Quality of Life for all his/my/our American neighbors.
