Reading the NYTimes article I learned Mr. Denis Javier Varela Hernandez, the father of the little girl appearing on the infamous July 2, 2018 Time cover photo, essentially states the girl’s mom, Ms. Sandra Maria Sanchez, made the decision to ABANDON their other three children.

Frankly, based on her SELFISH, reckless actions, I’d like to see Ms. Sandra Maria Sanchez arrested and charged with Criminal Child Abuse/Endangerment, and given a choice to return to her family in Honduras, OR, if convicted of Child Abuse, spend time in a U.S. jail or prison while her daughter is SAFELY returned to her dad in Honduras.

Have Oprah and our Nation’s medical professionals declared War on a significant population of mostly American Moms failing to recognize that placing ABOVE ALL ELSE the emotional well being of our Nation’s most precious and cherished assets, will most likely result with a fairly or wonderfully happy child maturing into a reasonably responsible teen and adult citizen caring about their own well being, as well as embracing compassion, empathy and respect for their peaceful and less fortunate neighbors?

Now that ‘Childhood Trauma’ (#ACEs) victim-survivor Oprah Winfrey LOUDLY addressed our Nation’s CHILD CARE PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS, will YOU, a responsible, caring American citizen join Oprah & Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, MD, pediatrician & CEO of the ‘Center For Youth Wellness’, in passionately calling for a National MOVEMENT educating American & foreign born primary child caregivers about a potentially life scarring medical disease/condition:

During a March 11, 2018 ’60 Minutes’ segment titled, “Treating Trauma,” Oprah Winfrey, a ‘Childhood Trauma’ (#ACEs) victim-survivor, shared knowledge regarding America’s easily PREVENTABLE, though potentially life scarring CHILD CARE PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS.

EYE-OPENING knowledge Oprah exuberantly confirms is a “game changer.”

Do Canadian police have the lawful authority to use “discretion’ and not make an arrest after developing probable cause that a person has committed “crime?”

If not, this irresponsible MATERNAL CHILD CARE GIVER should have been arrested and charged with Child Endangerment!

BRADENTON, FL (WFLA) – Bradenton Police officers confirmed that they found the body of the missing 11-year-old girl.

On Friday, Oct. 16, the Bradenton Police Department was contacted by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the search of Janiya Thomas, 11. The girl hasn’t been seen since August 2014.

The body was located Sunday evening. Bradenton Police Captain William Fowler confirmed that it was the missing girl Janiya Thomas.

Police officials didn’t release any information on where it was found. They will send an update Monday morning.

In regard to Tommy Sotomayor’s request I do not have physical images of the child abuse I’ve witnessed, the images are stored in my mind, placed there during the years I provided police services to people residing and working in New York City.

I try to calmly relate my experiences witnessing child abuse as a uniform cop and investigator during the nearly twelve years I worked in Brooklyn, NY community that child abuse victim Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter raps/writes about attempting destroy by selling poison to people living and working in his community, and rapping about engaging in extremely harmful anti-social behaviors designed to protect his drug operation from rival gangs in adjoining neighborhoods, as well as intimidate and cause fear to peaceful people living and working in the Marcy Houses and surrounding neighborhoods.

However, I am told my writings are not always sensitive. I apologize if my frustrations seep into the my accounts of personally witnessing child abuse, as well as how abuse/neglect adversely impacts the lives of developing newborns, infants, toddlers, children, teens and their communities.

Over the past few years I’ve watched quite a few horrific video recordings of adults, themselves victims of child abuse and neglect, committing criminal acts of child abuse and maltreatment against teens and children.

These two, well, see for yourself…

red-dotVictims of Child Abuse:

Read popular American rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur (Lesane Parish Crooks; June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996) lyrics to learn about his love-hate relationship with his mom, his great disappointment with his dad, and about Tupac’s frequent suicidal thoughts.

Read about how Tupac’s drug addicted mother accepted proceeds of the harmful anti-social acts Tupac raps/writes about committing against his peaceful neighbors. I have to tell you, reading Tupac’s lyrics brings back a lot memories of the horrific emotional child abuse I witnessed during the nearly twelve year I provided police services to Shawn Carter’s community.

Shawn “Jay Z” Carter (born December 4, 1969) is another victim of child abuse/neglect who raps/writes about the physical harm and fear he caused to his peaceful neighbors and community.

Reading Shawn “Jay Z” Carter describe the pain he caused to his neighbors and community, brought back painful memories, causing me experience much of the same anxiety and pain I experienced from personally witnessing the physical and emotional pain young Shawn Carter caused to individuals as well as an entire housing complex and surrounding neighborhoods.

In 1987, the same year emotionally depressed 2015 Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar was born, songwriter Suzanne Vega wrote a song about child abuse and VICTIM DENIAL that was nominated for a Grammy.

Suzanne nailed it, parents and caregivers do the most horrific things to their kids, yet many kids will defend their abusers, blaming themselves for their “blues,” bruises and injuries before admitting a parent/caretaker harmed them.

“Yes I think I’m okay I walked into the door again
Well, if you ask that’s what I’ll say

And it’s not your business anyway”
