A few months before leaving us, social activist Sandra Bland recorded a video declaring “War on Gang-bangers and Thugs” who she believes have negatively impacted her quality of life as well as harming peaceful people in her community and many American communities.

Essentially Sandra was speaking about America’s current National HEALTH CRISIS, aka America’s Culture of African American Child Abuse, Emotional Neglect and Maltreatment that evolved from America’s long-standing, ignorant Culture of Racism?

I am referring to a Culture of Child Abuse, Emotional Neglect/Abandonment and Maltreatment responsible for popular American urban storytellers the late Tupac Shakur and White House guest Kendrick Lamar vividly describing the “m.A.A.d. City” and “T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E. Child Abusing Cultures that through no fault of their own, deprived these American men, their childhood friends, as well as many of their elementary and JHS classmates from experiencing a SAFE, fairly or wonderfully happy American kid childhood.

Sadly the Criminal Child Abuse and Emotional Abandonment each of these men speaks about experiencing during a critical period of human/childhood development resulted with them maturing into teens and adults revealing in public they’ve been experiencing acute depression as well as Suicidal Thoughts for most of their lives.

The same Culture of African American Child Abuse, Neglect and Maltreatment responsible for significant numbers of popular American music performers and urban storytellers, for more than 30 years, creating and performing popular American art informing American society as well as our neighbors worldwide that American teen girls and women, aka the MATERNAL HALF of our population, should be viewed and treated as less than human *itches and & *hores or ‘hoes’ unworthy of basic human respect.

Unfortunately, it’s plainly evident Kendrick, Tupac as well as untold numbers of American children are being raised and nurtured by moms experiencing some type of illness preventing and impeding them from embracing and following their innate, natural maternal instinct to protect their child or children from harm.

Perhaps I’m wrong but something is preventing significant numbers of American moms from embracing a mother’s natural instinct and urge to place theirs, or any child’s emotional well-being Above All Else!!!

Tupac shares his #T_H_U_G_L_I_F_E Child Abuse/Emotional Neglect Awareness concept, as well as words of wisdom intelligently offering a SPECIFIC solution for improving the Quality of Childhood Life for American kids born to American women still struggling with emotional issues related to America’s ignorant Culture of Racism.

“The Hate U Give Little Infants Fvvks Everyone” ~Tupac

“We need more people who care; you know what I’m saying? We need more women, mothers, fathers, we need more of that…“ ~Tupac Shakur

During the eighties and nineties I spent the first twelve years of my police career as a Brooklyn, NY cop and investigator witnessing DAILY SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS of severely emotionally or mentally ill American moms MUCH LIKE the late Korryn Gaines. A very disturbed mom who recorded herself conditioning her young son to HATE the police, much like Kendrick Lamar’s “living wild” emotionally or mentally disturbed mom and dad conditioned Kendrick, his siblings and numerous cousins to hate the police.

Fact is, severely disturbed American moms like Ms. Korryn Gaines conditioning their kids to hate are responsible for me fleeing, running from and abandoning the Brooklyn community that for twelve years was my second home.

During the twelve years I was a Brooklyn cop I regularly witnessed and experienced the mind bending emotional roller coaster ride Kendrick Lamar describes as a “m.A.A.d. City” culture, no different from the “T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E.” culture the late Tupac Shakur vividly describes in his popular American art.

Frankly, twelve years of personally witnessing and experiencing the “m.A.A.d. City” & “T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E.” child abusing cultures, as well as meeting many other peaceful Americans whose families and friends were adversely impacted by these cultures, twisted my mind to the point I felt my empathy and compassion being drained from me, and not being replenished.

After twelve years serving the Brooklyn, NY community popular urban storyteller and White House guest Shawn Jay-Z Carter speaks about oppressing and enslaving with his 24/7 drug peddling trade, protected and enforced by his gang’s semi automatic ‘Mack Milli’s’, I determined I needed to place my own emotional well-being as well as physical safety Above All Else.

It was time for me to flee, abandon, transfer and get as far away as I possibly could from the “m.A.A.d. City” & “T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E.” cultures responsible for Kendrick and Tupac speaking about experiencing acute depression and Suicidal Thoughts throughout much of their lives.

Unfortunately Kendrick and Tupac as well as significant numbers of American children and teens do not have the option of packing up their belongings and moving to another community when they feel their minds are being affected in ways they do not like and believe are not healthy for them.

It appears Sandra was concerned about kids experiencing Child Abuse and Neglect that is primarily responsible for our prisons and far too many American communities being populated by depressed, angry, frustrated, undisciplined, unpredictable, sometimes suicidal teens and adults (NY Times May 18, 2015 — Rise in Suicide by Black Children Surprises Researchers) full of resentment for irresponsibly being introduced to a life of hardships and struggles.

Early Childhood Abuse and Neglect primarily responsible for depressed, sometimes suicidal children developing into depressed, angry, frustrated, unpredictable teens and adults lacking empathy and compassion for others, though desperately needing to vent their pent up rage and negative emotions. Far too often causing emotional and physical harm to peaceful people…instead of directing and venting their pain and resentment AT THEIR SELFISH, immature, apathetic MATERNAL CAREGIVERS who willfully or negligently failed to RECOGNIZE that placing ABOVE ALL ELSE the EMOTIONAL WELL BEING of their child(ren) will most likely result with a fairly or wonderfully happy child maturing into a reasonably responsible teen and adult respecting themselves, their peaceful neighbors and the authority responsible for maintaining peace in all American neighborhoods.

After listening to several of Ms. Bland’s video broadcasts I have few doubts she believed parents, especially single parents attempting to take on the extraordinary challenges and burdens of raising children in communities populated by a significant number of emotionally abandon depressed children, have a moral & ethical to their children, as well as a societal duty and obligation to their neighbors and community to place ABOVE ALL ELSE the emotional well being of OUR NATION’S most valuable, precious and cherished assets.

Did anyone hear or seriously consider Sandra’s passionate plea for peace…or listen to Sandra’s other videos calling for peace and unity?

In this Fair Use clip from a documentary about NYC gangs in the 70s, proud gang member Little Carmen tells the interviewer,

“Like our family wasn’t really there for us, so our family was the gang.”

American urban storyteller and recording artist Thirstin Howl III explains,

“My mother’s whole life was, ya know, crime and robbery.”

Sadly, it appears an overwhelming majority of RESPONSIBLE, caring, concerned, loving Americans refuse to recognize that Little Carmen, Thirstin Howl III and most of the people appearing in this documentary are victims of America’s expanding Culture of Childhood Abuse, Neglect & Maltreatment.

If Americans sincerely wish to reduce police fear and anxiety that sometimes leads to police misconduct and/or aggression, the question all concerned, compassionate Americans should seriously be asking ourselves, our elected, civil, social, community and religious leaders is, “What real substantial changes in our society’s attitude and child protection laws need to occur to PREVENT abuse that often causes young kids to mature into depressed, frustrated, angry teens and adults as a result of experiencing the emotional and/or physical trauma of an abusive childhood?”

Peace.

“Mark’s life was doomed from even before he was born,” says Mark Fregia’s mother, Susan Armstrong Pittman.

“I took his childhood away,” says Susan who feels that Mark took care of her more than she him. “I was selfish,” she reiterates, “I just looked out for myself and didn’t attend to Mark’s needs as I should have. Mark was always taking care of me. He became more of a parent than a son. He was my little husband. I wasn’t a parent to him.”

Doctors Ross and Dietz offer insights into how our Early Childhood Development plays a key role in determining the type of individual we mature into.

Robert K. Ross, MD, President and CEO of The California Endowment, addressed inmates at Ironwood State Prison offering a compelling overview of the role that exposure to Childhood Trauma plays in the lives of Emotionally Troubled and chronically ill American teens and adults.

At 2:12:25 in this documentary about Mafia hit-man and victim of Early Childhood Trauma/Abuse, Richard “The Iceman” Kuklinski, Dr. Park Dietz explains why young Richard most likely developed into a emotionally disturbed, paranoid, cruel, heartless teen and man who did not give a frig about anyone else, including his wife and kids.
