FBer Gregory Small commenting on the ‘shoot or don’t shot’ video Avery published, “how about you are compliant and gets your jaw kicked in how bout you are compliant and being choked to death and told fuck your breath, how about other officers standing by while you are being brutalized, why if you are stopped for a minor traffic offense you have to come out of your vehicle and lay on the ground.how about you are hand cuffed and tazed to death.”

Hi, Gregory. Whether or not a person is in police custody, there are no credible excuses for a cop losing his or her cool and criminally assaulting a citizen or anyone else.

Certainly there are no legit reasons for a police officer failing to adhere to his or her sworn duty, placing the civil and human rights of their American neighbors ABOVE ALL ELSE!!! when serving the public.

In the 80s I was a mature, reasonably stable adult when I became a Brooklyn, NY rookie cop regularly witnessing the Gangsta/Street Culture acutely depressed, suicidal thinking Kendrick Lamar & a substantial number of popular American urban storytellers vividly describe & speak about in their American artistry.

Gregory, when I think about the emotional roller coaster ride of anxiety, FEAR, frustrations, anger, disappointment & uncertainty I experienced during the twelve years I witnessed the challenges & realities of life experienced by my American neighbors residing in Kendrick Lamar’s ‘m.A.A.d city’, & then consider how that emotional roller coaster ride impacts the psyche of toddlers, children & teens during a critical period of their childhood/human development, I cannot help thanking my lucky stars I was born to a reasonably responsible young couple recognizing that placing ABOVE ALL ELSE the EMOTIONAL WELL BEING of their child(ren) will most likely result with a fairly or wonderfully happy child maturing into a reasonably responsible teen & adult respecting themselves, as well as embracing a genuine concern for the welfare of their peaceful &/or less fortunate neighbors.

Sadly, when the madness begins affecting their minds in ways they do not like, the emotionally damaged, neglected or physically abused & maltreated kids in Kendrick’s large family & neighborhood DO NOT have the option of requesting a transfer to get far away from the family and/or community madness causing them to experience, anxiety & FEAR, as well as experiencing genuinely REAL concerns for their physical safety.

Fears far too many Americans and their children experience when minding their own business in their own homes.

Bottom line, Gregory, my experiences tell me not all police officer possess the maturity, skills and temperament required for regularly interacting with a significant population of seriously depressed people caught in, and far too often responsible for perpetuating a generational Culture of Childhood Abuse, Neglect and Maltreatment primarily responsible for the late Freddie Gray maturing into a depressed, self and community harming teen and adult.

The Culture of Child Abuse/Neglect responsible for Baltimore teen Michael Singleton maturing into a seriously emotionally disturbed human being who joined his seriously depressed classmates in attempting to kill or cause grave bodily harm to police officers attempting to protect peaceful Baltimore residents from emotionally damaged children maturing into depressed teens and adults lacking compassion, empathy and respect for their peaceful neighbors.

Gregory, some police officers need to do a better job. Police departments need become more proactive identifying cops experiencing “burn out.”

And with a doubt some American moms need to recognize what Tupac was REALLY saying when he tattooed in bold letters “Thug Life” across his once NEGLECTED, hurting, hungry belly.

“The Hate U Give Little Infants Fvvks Everyone” ~Tupac on T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E.

“We need more people who care; you know what I’m saying? We need more women, mothers, fathers, we need more of that, we don’t need any more entertainers.“ ~Tupac Shakur

Gregory, thanks for your reply. I hope my reply to you offers a perspective from another point of view.

Peace.

Doctors Ross and Dietz offer insights into how our Early Childhood Development plays a key role in determining the type of individual we mature into.

Robert K. Ross, MD, President and CEO of The California Endowment, addressed inmates at Ironwood State Prison offering a compelling overview of the role that exposure to Childhood Trauma plays in the lives of Emotionally Troubled and chronically ill American teens and adults.

At 2:12:25 in this documentary about Mafia hit-man and victim of Early Childhood Trauma/Abuse, Richard “The Iceman” Kuklinski, Dr. Park Dietz explains why young Richard most likely developed into a emotionally disturbed, paranoid, cruel, heartless teen and man who did not give a frig about anyone else, including his wife and kids.
