Madonna’s Dignity and Respect Tour?

Isn’t Madonna Louise Ciccone an American entertainer and mother who authors children’s books AND composes music performances that characterize the MATERNAL HALF of our population as less than human itches or hores undeserving of respect?

In my opinion Ms. Madonna Louise Ciccone is a talented, selfish, ignorant American citizen responsible for contributing to the moral decay of our country.

I have no problem with our society changing and evolving, THOUGH I do have a problem with people characterizing (especially for personal gain & profit) our moms, sisters, grandmas, daughters, aunts and nieces as itches and hores.

I also have a problem with people who IGNORE our troubling social issues primarily responsible for many of our neighbors demeaning and disrespecting girls and women as itches and hores.

During a discussion about this story on Vlad TV.com, I asked Shawn mc, When & Why Did Our Moms Become Less Than Human?

https://disqus.com/home/discussion/vladtv/newly_released_criminals_celebrate_w_party_at_strangers_house/#comment-2357981215

Shawn mc replied *”in my opinion a lot of this mentality toward our women started in the 70’s with the glamorization of pimping, having alot of women was seen as positive, when the pimp spoke to his women in a demeaning way people were entertained.

calling women b1tches and h0s in rap music came out the west coast and their culture from pimping, that rap style became very popular and the rscrd sold of the shelves.”*

Excellent insight, Shawn…a fact that went right over my head until you reminded me of the pimp culture…a culture that was not very pervasive or dominant in the NY metro area, though I have few doubts Pimping was a sub-culture of anti-social behaviors that influenced the attitudes of young boys, teens and men who watched their depressed moms selling their bodies for cash or ‘whatever’.

Shawn observed, “the disturbing aspect of this is the way black women have also supported this culture shift by calling each other those names, being the MAJOR supporter of those records, being in the front row of those shows and with out a doubt dating men that would call them those names over respectable young men.”

Agreed, Shawn. In my mind the the bottom-line is that a substantial population of teen girls and young women have deprived their child and or children from experiencing a loving, caring family environment that humans need and must have if we are to mature into fairly well adjusted teens and adults respecting our neighbors.

Normally I would be peeved at people who shrug their responsibility for raising children, I would become angry holding these moms accountable for criminally abusing and neglecting the welfare of their children.

However, looking at the big picture, factoring in racism and slavery that negatively impacted the psyche of untold numbers of African people abducted from their native homes and enslaved in another land by foreign people, causing many to live with depression and a feeling of hopelessness, I find it difficult to be truly angry at depressed victims of our past human ignorance we call racism.

Recently while looking into the background of Ta-Nehisi Coates, I learned that in 2013 President Obama addressed the Morehouse College graduating class.

In his remarks Mr. Obama spoke about racially motivated human ignorances and how he dealt with them in his life. He spoke about the need to strengthen family vaules and boys having dads they can look up to as role models.

The very next day $FOR PROFIT$ author Ta-Nehisi Coates wrote an article criticizing Mr. Obama for addressing the black community differently from other American communities.

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/05/how-the-obama-administration-talks-to-black-america/276015/

Using his gift for creative writing, Mr. Coates essentially called our president a “coon” and Uncle Tom” for trying to make a better life for children by addressing the reality of life for many fatherless children.

Shawn, imo ignorant, angry people like Ta-Nehisi Coates are in part responsible for holding back Americans of African descent from fully enjoying a safe, fairly happy American life experience.

Of course there are other factors depriving some or many American people of African descent from thriving and enjoying a safe, fairly happy American life.

Though people like Mr. Coates who author books for-profit, people clinging to our ignorant past, people who refuse to recognize we are human animals, constantly learning about ourselves and our human behaviors as we evolve…these are the people primarily responsible for giving victims of maternal Child Abuse and Neglect a place to hang their hats for blaming every one except their moms and dads for making poor choices when building a family.

Shawn, thanks for sharing your thoughts and concerns.

Peace, brother.

Yesterday [May 19, 2013], the president addressed Morehouse College’s graduating class, and said this:

Certainly, the complex social issues our American neighbors of African descent are dealing with and have been dealing with for centuries cannot be addressed in one writing.

However, being a ‘bottom-line guy’ I believe today’s most profound issue challenging all Americans boils down to family, respect and love for developing human life, while taking pride in parenting a child who experiences a safe, fairly happy American kid childhood filled mostly with fond memories of being nurtured and cared for by loving parents or caregivers they respected.

Frankly, after spending twelve years providing police services to a Brooklyn, NY community during the 80s-90s I believe I witnessed first hand America’s expanding and shameful National Epidemic of Childhood Abuse and Neglect, Poverty, that for more than two generations has deprived untold numbers of American kids from experiencing and enjoying a fairly happy American kid childhood with Safe Streets to travel and play on,

Child Abuse and Neglect that is primarily responsible for populating our prisons with depressed, angry, frustrated, undisciplined, unpredictable, sometimes suicidal teens and adults full of resentment for irresponsibly being introduced to a life of hardships and struggles.

Early Childhood Abuse and Neglect that often leads depressed, sometimes suicidal (NY Times May 18, 2015 – Rise in Suicide by Black Children Surprises Researchers) children to develop into depressed, angry, frustrated, unpredictable, sometimes suicidal teens and adults lacking empathy and compassion for others, though needing to vent their pent up negative emotions, often causing emotional and physical harm to peaceful people…instead of venting their anger, resentment and pain on the immature single moms and/or dads who introduced them to a life of pain and struggle by irresponsibly building a family before acquiring the practical skills, PATIENCE and means to successfully raise and nurture a developing young child who matures into a fairly happy responsible teen and adult with mostly fond memories of their childhood.

More than two years ago President Barack Obama speaking at Morehouse College addressed the issue of families and fatherless children:

“I was raised by a heroic single mother and wonderful grandparents who made incredible sacrifices for me. And I know there are moms and grandparents here today who did the same thing for all of you. But I still wish I had a father who was not only present, but involved. And so my whole life, I’ve tried to be for Michelle and my girls what my father wasn’t for my mother and me. I’ve tried to be a better husband, a better father, and a better man.

“It’s hard work that demands your constant attention, and frequent sacrifice. And Michelle will be the first to tell you that I’m not perfect. Even now, I’m still learning how to be the best husband and father I can be. Because success in everything else is unfulfilling if we fail at family. I know that when I’m on my deathbed someday, I won’t be thinking about any particular legislation I passed, or policy I promoted; I won’t be thinking about the speech I gave, or the Nobel Prize I received. I’ll be thinking about a walk I took with my daughters. A lazy afternoon with my wife. Whether I did right by all of them.

“Be a good role model and set a good example for that young brother coming up. If you know someone who isn’t on point, go back and bring that brother along. The brothers who have been left behind – who haven’t had the same opportunities we have – they need to hear from us. We’ve got to be in the barbershops with them, at church with them, spending time and energy and presence helping pull them up, exposing them to new opportunities, and supporting their dreams. We have to teach them what it means to be a man – to serve your city like Maynard Jackson; to shape the culture like Spike Lee. Chester Davenport was one of the first people to integrate the University of Georgia law school. When he got there, no one would sit next to him in class. But Chester didn’t mind. Later on, he said, ‘It was the thing for me to do. Someone needed to be the first.’ Today, Chester is here celebrating his 50th reunion. If you’ve had role models, fathers, brothers like that – thank them today. If you haven’t, commit yourself to being that man for someone else.”

The next day popular author and social activist Ta-Nehisi Coates shared his thoughts about Mr. Obama’s comments, essentially stating he believes our president is being extraordinarily tough on the black community, treating Americans of African descent differently from other Americans.

coates
Author & American Activist Ta-Nehisi Coates

I’ve read interviews and listened to Ta-Nehisi speak about fearing for his personal safety while walking in certain neighborhoods or getting off a bus in Harlem.

I’ve listened to Ta-Nehisi speak about growing up feeling loved and cared for by his parents, which resulted with him maturing into a peaceful, responsible man respecting his peaceful neighbors.

Yet for some reason Ta-Nehisi chooses to ignore a substantial population of American kids who were not raised in a caring, loving environment that imbued them with a sense of compassion and empathy for their peaceful neighbors.

I’m not sure why Ta-Nehisi ignores or fails to understand who is primarily responsible for him experiencing fear when exiting a Harlem bus, though judging from Mr. Barack Obama’s remarks, our president is aware of the basic reason causing many peaceful Americans to fear for their personal and family’s safety.

I may not always agree with Mr. Obama’s visions for America, though on the issue of kids growing up without dads I am one hundred percent in agreement with him.

Reading all of Obama’s Morehouse remarks it appears to me the president and Mrs. Obama recognize the oppression of humans that led to racism and slavery has largely been replaced with a new form of human oppression that impedes and deprives many American children from experiencing a safe, fairly happy American kid childhood.

I hope Mr. Obama will not allow Americans like Mr. Coates to dissuade him from repeating his Morehouse messages over and over to a broader audience of Americans.

With all due respect to my American neighbors of African descent I believe what I am witnessing in this video are depressed females responsible for perpetuating and fueling America’s expanding and shameful National Epidemic of Childhood Abuse and Neglect, Poverty, that for more than two generations has deprived untold numbers of American kids from experiencing and enjoying a fairly happy American kid childhood with Safe Streets to travel and play on,

Child Abuse and Neglect that is primarily responsible for populating our prisons with depressed, angry, frustrated, undisciplined, unpredictable, sometimes suicidal teens and adults full of resentment for irresponsibly being introduced to a life of hardships and struggles.

Early Childhood Abuse and Neglect that often leads depressed, sometimes suicidal (NY Times May 18, 2015 – Rise in Suicide by Black Children Surprises Researchers) children to develop into depressed, angry, frustrated, unpredictable, sometimes suicidal teens and adults lacking empathy and compassion for others, though needing to vent their pent up negative emotions, often causing emotional and physical harm to peaceful people…instead of venting their anger, resentment and pain on the immature single moms and/or dads who introduced them to a life of pain and struggle by irresponsibly building a family before acquiring the practical skills, PATIENCE and means to successfully raise and nurture a developing young child who matures into a fairly happy responsible teen and adult.

Quoting the May 2015 NYT article, “The suicide rate among black children has nearly doubled since the early 1990s, surpassing the rate for white children, a new study has found.”

Who or what is responsible for traumatizing, abusing, neglecting, maltreating children to the point where depressed young kids, we’re talking elementary school age kids, believe their lives are not worth living?

Read about how Tupac’s drug addicted mother accepted proceeds of the harmful anti-social acts Tupac raps/writes about committing against his peaceful neighbors. I have to tell you, reading Tupac’s lyrics brings back a lot memories of the horrific emotional child abuse I witnessed during the nearly twelve year I provided police services to Shawn Carter’s community.

red-dot

Sean Combs believes the American man he helped elect to office as Top Dawg of The USA should be doing more – right now at this moment to compensate our American neighbors of African descent for hooking him up as a national and world leader.

I am curious if Sean believes it would be helpful to our American neighbors of African descent if President Obama took to his presidential podium and compassionately, yet firmly and honestly, addressed America’s expanding and shameful National Epidemic of Childhood Abuse and Neglect, Poverty, that for more than two generations has deprived untold numbers of American kids from experiencing and enjoying a fairly happy American kid childhood with Safe Streets to travel and play on.

Does Sean believe it would it bolster our president’s message for improving parenting if Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar joined him, from his heart speaking to a national audience about Early Childhood Abuse and Neglect that deprived him, his brothers, sisters and cousins from experiencing and enjoying a Average Joe and Josie American kid childhood with Safe Streets to travel and play on?

Perhaps Tavis Smiley could join President Obama and Kendrick, sharing his thoughts about growing up in a family with nine brothers and sisters who till this day still struggle with poverty, according to Tavis he being the only one of ten children to experience a prosperous American mainstream life?

Maybe Baltimore Mom of The Year Ms. Toya Graham could join these gentlemen, determined to Keep It Real by revealing during the infancy of her adulthood she made some very poor choices that resulted with her six children experiencing a life of struggle and hardship?

I’m curious to know if Mr. Sean Combs believes it would be in the best interests of our struggling neighbors, for other struggling (or formerly struggling) American neighbors to join Ms. Toya Graham by Keeping It Real?

Perhaps other victims of child abuse and neglect like Dwayne Lil Wayne Carter, and fellow NYers Shawn Jay Z Carter & Ms. Azealia “Miss Bank$” Amanda Banks, and many more Rap or Hip Hop performers whose life were touched by abuse, neglect, parental apathy or lack of supervision and guidance, would join in sharing with a national and world wide audience of moms, aspiring moms or other primary caregivers, the emotional pain and anguish they experienced during their formative years? Years that were critical for their emotional development into fairly happy teens and adults.

Last question for Sean. Do children who grew up respecting and loving their moms mature into teens and adults writing or rapping lyrics characterizing the maternal half of our population as less than human *itches or *hores unworthy of respect?

Peace.

After listening to a ThisAmericanLife podcast interview with Cornealious Michael “Mike” Anderson III and his wife, learning how he transformed himself from a angry, disturbed young person into an average, peaceful, working family man, I believe most people who crossed the line and acquire criminal records should be given the opportunity to prove they’ve matured and earnestly want to be responsible.

However, banning the box is only a band-aid that does not address the more serious social issue for learning why some people become depressed, angry, frustrated, mildly or significantly emotionally disturbed people who often violently or non-violently harm their/our peaceful neighbors?

In my opinion the serious social issue glaring us all in the face is America’s expanding and shameful National Epidemic of Childhood Abuse and Neglect, Poverty, that for more than two generations has deprived untold numbers of American kids from experiencing and enjoying a fairly happy American kid childhood with Safe Streets to travel and play on.

A thought.

During the early to mid 80s young Brooklyn, NY rap performers were selling their CDs from car trunks, sharing rap performances with their fans that referred to females as less than human *itches and *hores unworthy of respect.

Less than a decade earlier virtually all American music artists of African descent were writing beautiful, timeless music adoring, admiring, praising, wooing, lamenting, loving and respecting the maternal half of our population.

Today many mega-popular rap performers continue characterizing our moms, sisters, grandmas, daughters, aunts and nieces as less than human creatures unworthy of respect. 😦

What I see in this recorded act of criminal child abuse, is adults conditioning children to embrace the cycle of child abuse, child maltreatment and violence passed down from generation to generation by depressed Americans who are content living in the poverty they are primarily responsible for fueling when irresponsibly birthing children from selfishness, instead of the love between two committed adult partners.

Read popular American rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur (Lesane Parish Crooks; June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996) lyrics to learn about his love-hate relationship with his mom, his great disappointment with his dad, and about Tupac’s frequent suicidal thoughts.

Shawn “Jay Z” Carter (born December 4, 1969) is another victim of child abuse/neglect who raps/writes about the physical harm and fear he caused to his peaceful neighbors and community.

Reading Shawn “Jay Z” Carter describe the pain he caused to his neighbors and community, brought back painful memories, causing me experience much of the same anxiety and pain I experienced from personally witnessing the physical and emotional pain young Shawn Carter caused to individuals as well as an entire housing complex and surrounding neighborhoods.

That was difficult to watch.

Once the suspect began to flee, the officer endangered himself by using extremely poor tactics, young Zachary did not even come close to endangering anyone.

I do not see a justification for using deadly physical force.

With all due respect to my American neighbors of African descent, I believe the oppression of humans that led to racism and slavery has largely been replaced with a new form of human oppression that impedes and deprives many American children from experiencing a safe, fairly happy American kid childhood.

When my American neighbors of African descent loudly demonstrate they as a community will aggressively work toward ending America’s expanding and shameful National Epidemic of Child Abuse and Neglect, aka Poverty, that for decades has deprived untold numbers of emotionally abused and neglected young developing children from experiencing and enjoying a safe, fairly happy American kid childhood…Child Abuse and Neglect that often causes depressed, sometimes suicidal (NY Times May 18, 2015 – Rise in Suicide by Black Children Surprises Researchers) children to mature into depressed, angry, frustrated, unpredictable, sometimes suicidal teens and adults lacking empathy and compassion for our/their peaceful neighbors, I will support reparations for the depraved and immoral acts of our predecessors who wilfully, greedily or ignorantly deprived untold numbers of human beings from experiencing and enjoying a safe, peaceful life.

I will set aside the fact that since my childhood in the 60s, Americans have invested trillions of dollars in our fellow citizens of African descent in the form of social services and criminal justice services dedicated to protecting peaceful Americans of African descent by prosecuting and imprisoning the off-spring of immature parental figures who irresponsibly began building small or large families before acquiring the skills, PATIENCE and means to provide their children with a safe, fairly happy American kid childhood.

My friends, this is just my opinion, I believe if we are going to evolve into a more healthy nation respecting one another as free people, we need to focus on providing better care for our young.

Frankly, and I’m not trying to be mean or rude, but I cannot imagine growing up without having my dad in the house and other responsible, truly caring male relatives who helped guide me into becoming a peaceful, fairly happy teen and adult.

Peace…

Mr. James Hawthorne Intelligently Addresses “The Race Card”

james-hawthorne

Source: (Facebook) James Hawthorne

yellow-horizontal

What I see and hear is Mr. Hawthorne using plain English to passionately address America’s expanding and shameful National Epidemic of Childhood Abuse and Neglect, Poverty, that for more than two generations has deprived untold numbers of American kids from experiencing and enjoying a fairly happy American kid childhood with Safe Streets to travel and play on.

Of course there are abused and neglected children residing in every American community, though at the moment it seems obvious children living in predominantly African American communities and neighborhoods are experiencing a higher rate of abuse and neglect.

The two question ALL Americans need to consider and address, “How do we educate and inspire single-moms and/or dads to become more responsible care givers for our nation’s young?”

“How do we inspire young music performers of African descent, many whom over the past thirty years have been characterizing our moms, sisters, grandmas, daughters, aunts and nieces as *itches and *hores….to begin loving and respecting the MATERNAL HALF of our population, much like ALL musicians from the 60-70s who wrote beautiful music adoring, praising, wooing, lamenting, loving and respecting American women?
